PERNICKA CORPORATION AWARDS TWO SCHOLARSHIPS
In partnership with FIRST, the Pernicka Corporation is pleased to announce the Chris Stephani and Amber Nashawaty are these years' winners of the Rocky Mountain – First Scholarship. This non-renewable merit scholarship is only available to senior high school students who have participated on a FIRST team located in New Mexico , Colorado , Wyoming , or Montana.
Chris Stephani is the son of Evon and Linda Stephani of Hamilton , MT. He has been a member of the FIRST Robotics team for the last three years. He is also active in National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Varsity Soccer, Track, Future Problem solvers, Knowledge Masters Open, Bitterroot Brains, and Church Youth Group. He plans to attend Montana State University in the fall.
Amber Victoria Nashawaty is the daughter of Joanne Lynn Nashawaty of Colorado Springs , Colorado . She is a member of the Eagle Robotics Team 662 at Air Academy High School . She is also active in State cheerleading squad, engineering club, Remote control airplane club and an AMA member. She plans to attend Colorado State University in the fall.

Daniel Black wins Rocky Mountain – First Scholarship
In partnership with FIRST, the Pernicka Corporation is pleased to announce that Daniel Black is this year's winner of the Rocky Mountain – FIRST Scholarship. This non-renewable merit scholarship is only available to senior high school students who have participated on a FIRST team located in New Mexico , Colorado , Wyoming , or Montana .
Daniel, who is the son of Dennis and Pamela Black, was active on Poudre High School 's FIRST team for the past three years. In addition to being enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program at Poudre, he found time to be a founding member and coordinator of the Poudre High School Robotics Team in Fort Collins , Colorado .
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) awarded over $1.2 million dollars in scholarships to deserving high school students at their National Robotics Competition held at Disney World this past April. Pernicka Corporation Announces ISO 9002:1994 Certification
The Pernicka Corporation would like to announce that it has achieved full-site certification of conformity to the ISO 9002:1994 quality management standard.
This means that an independent auditor has verified that the quality management system at Pernicka Corporation meets the standard's requirements, which can be used by an organization to address customer satisfaction, by meeting customer and applicable regulatory requirements. In this case the “customers” are manufacturers of hermetically sealed devices, which require residual gas analysis, as well as customers who need custom products manufactured.
ISO, The International Organization for Standardization is a non-governmental organization established in 1947. The mission of ISO is to promote the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific technological and economic activity.
